Meet Our Legal Family
Our law firm, the Schultz Law Office, P.A., was founded by attorney Gerald O. Schultz, who has been serving clients in southwest Kansas since 1984. Gerald received a bachelor’s degree from Ottawa University and his law degree from the Washburn University School of Law. He has been a member of the Kansas Bar Association Legislative Committee and served on the Kansas Supreme Court Blue Ribbon Commission in 2011.
Our practice took its current name in 2013, when Gerald’s son Zachary D. Schultz joined as a lawyer with the firm. Like his father, Zachary attended Ottawa University and the Washburn University School of Law. He has been active in the Finney County Bar Association, serving a term as co-president and acting as a trustee of the Finney County Law Library.
Our practice further augmented its attorney roster in 2016 when Margaret M. Schultz and Logan M. Schultz joined the firm. Both Margaret and Logan attended the Washburn University School of Law. Margaret focuses on family law and has done guardian ad litem work for children in need of care. Logan currently handles cases involving criminal defense, civil litigation, contracts and water rights.
